Vision

Scientific Degrees granted by the Department of Islamic History and Islamic Civilization: It Contributes in conjunction with the other departments of thefaculty to grant Bachelor's degree in Arabic language , literature andIslamic sciences for the faculty students It contributes with all of sections of Islamic philosophy and Islamic law to grant General Diploma in Islamic Studies It contributes with all departments of Islamic philosophy and Islamic law to grant Special Diploma in Islamic Studies It contributes to grant diploma of achieving Arabic manuscripts and papyri 

Mission

Department of Islamic History and Islamic Civilization is one of the seven departments in Dar Al Aulum faculty, and also a part of Islamic sciences that is a complementary of the educational process system with Arabic sciences altogether Department of Islamic History and Islamic Civilization has been established in conjunction with building the faculty under the name of (Arabic Studies College) by the republican decree No 239 of 1983,and then changed to the name of (Faculty of Dar-Aulum) through the republican decree No (470) of the year 1999 But the name of this section has not been changed by modifying the faculty name Those following persons have been dribbled to the section presidency Prof Dr Nadia Haniem Hassan Saqr By establishing the faculty in 1983 until 1992 Prof Dr Mahmoud Rizk Mahmoud from 1992 till 1998 Prof Dr Naema Ali Moursy 1998 to the current day The Department includes number of faculty Staff members and their assistants who are: Prof Dr Naema Ali Moursy Professor Faculty Dean and head of the department. Prof Dr Mahmoud Rizk Mahmoud - Professor and the former head of the department Faculty Vice Dean of community and environment services previously Prof Dr Nassary Fahmy Ghazali Emeritus Professor Prof Dr Tony Ahmed Abd El-Latief Emeritus Professor Major of Gawalla Committee and the public service of the faculty previously Dr Mohammed Kamel Mohammed Sayed a teacher Deputy Director of Quality Assurance Unit Editor of the Faculty Electronic portal Academic Coordinator of the Faculty student activities Counselor of Gawalla and the public service committee altogether Dr Ibrahim Mohamed Hammed Teacher Dr El Shimaa Sayed Kamel Teacher Pro Galiela Mohamed Hanafy Assistant Professor a Prof Hossam Hassan Ismail Instructor
